Lunevi Life Opens Its Digital Doors to India and the World

A new home for handcrafted Chikankari, modern silhouettes and stories written in thread

On Tuesday, 15 September 2026, Lunevi Life officially opened its digital doors.

The launch of lunevilife.com marks the beginning of a new chapter for Lunevi: bringing authentic Chikankari, considered materials and contemporary Indian silhouettes to women across India and beyond.

Built around the belief that true luxury is measured in time, Lunevi connects the hand-embroidery heritage of Lucknow with a modern, globally relevant wardrobe. Every garment begins with an appreciation for the hand, the cloth and the time required to bring the two together.

Early interest from India and international audiences

The first signals from Google Search show that Lunevi is already being discovered beyond its home market.

As the website entered its official launch week, Google recorded a milestone of 10 search clicks during the preceding 28-day period. This followed an earlier milestone of five clicks recorded on 24 August 2026.

India accounted for 79% of the measured clicks. International discovery came from Bangladesh, Germany and the United States, each contributing 7%, with additional interest recorded from Austria.

These are early figures, but their geographic spread reflects the purpose behind Lunevi: to present Chikankari with enough cultural clarity to honour its origin and enough visual confidence to speak to audiences internationally.

Rooted in Lucknow, designed for contemporary life

Chikankari is closely associated with Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Its identity lies in the controlled movement of needle and thread, the relationship between stitch and fabric and the knowledge carried by skilled artisans.

Lunevi brings this craft into kurtas, kurta sets, Anarkalis and contemporary co-ordinates made for present-day wardrobes.

The intention is not to separate Chikankari from its history. It is to give the craft a thoughtful place in modern life through breathable materials, clear silhouettes and embroidery that rewards a closer look.

A digital space built around the garment

Lunevilife.com has been created as more than a conventional online store.

The website introduces customers to Lunevi’s Whites, Colors, Multi-Colors and Limited collections while documenting the materials, making and cultural context behind the clothing.

Through The Lunevi Journal, visitors can read about Chikankari stitches, Mulmul cotton, georgette, garment care, artisan work and the role of time in handcrafted clothing.

The Journal will also create a more transparent relationship between the garment and its wearer by explaining origin, material, production and care in clear language.

Continuing the conversation on Instagram

Lunevi’s Instagram presence extends this story through moving images, embroidery details, editorial fashion and glimpses of the brand’s evolving visual language.

Instagram allows the textures and movement of Chikankari to be experienced differently from a product page. A close-up can reveal the rise of a thread. A short film can show how georgette moves around the body. A quiet portrait can place heritage embroidery inside a contemporary setting.

This is only the opening stitch

The launch of Lunevi Life is a beginning rather than a conclusion.

In the months ahead, Lunevi will continue expanding its Journal, developing multilingual stories for international readers and documenting more of the people, materials and processes behind each garment.

Wherever a Lunevi garment travels, its story begins with the hands that shaped it.
